-dusts off Dev page-...no, I'm not dead...I was just so preoccupied with other stuff during the summer/early fall. Add to the fact that I had a minor mind blank about what to draw for a long time, I just couldn't bring myself to come back until I had something to update my gallery with.
Let's see...college situation...when last I left my journal, I had just come back to college for summer classes. The good news...all A's in all three subjects.
...bad news...only got to enjoy two weeks break before having to come back here for the fall semester. Ah well...at least I've got a better environment to study in...that first single room I had back in the Honors dorm was so small and stuffy...
...but other than that...well, not much happening to me at the moment...save for a preliminary phone interview for a summer internship on Wednesday. Gah...I hope I don't sound so groggy over the phone...the time the interviewer will call is going to be early...

1. Ideas for comics. It takes me quite a while to come up with new ideas for comics. Course, since I haven't created one for over a year now, you'd think that I'd have come up with something by now.
2. College. Need I elaborate?

Well, I finally managed to take a quick browse through yours after a period of adjusting to college life. I take it you've been trying really hard to improve your drawings; you certainly have produced a lot of deviations. Out of curiosity, have you been trying to improve on your shading? Your later pictures seem to reflect this, but you might want to work on making the transition between the lighter and darker colors smoother.
Also, you might want to work on improving anatomical details; somehow, I keep getting the sense that the proportions seem off a bit or that certain areas of the body are a bit skewed somehow.
Eh...I'm sorry if I'm sounding too critical.

Yeah I have been trying to do just that, but its hard to make it softer when all you have is MS Paint...
And yeah, I am working on that, if you notice, when I do traditional, the anatomy is correct, but I'm still getting used to my new tablet, so soon I'll be used to it digitally as well.
And yes, no worries there, I'm all about being told where to improve and working on them.
